May we not lose sight of the essential principles underlying the profound tradition of yoga
At Williamstown Yoga and Meditation we offer our community highly experienced and professional teachers from a number of different yoga and meditation traditions.
All of our teachers are dedicated to offering authentic yoga practice and to improving our students’ physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing within a safe, supportive environment. That means we can offer each student a teacher to suit her/his individual disposition, temperament, body-type, mental aptitude, and lifestyle.
In all classes, we give students the option to practice gently or in a more challenging manner. We offer different variations of poses and we encourage our students to practice in a non-competitive way. This gives all students the chance to work to capacity, within the boundaries of ahimsa (non-harming) – doing what you can, with what you have, with where you are.
Yoga is for Everybody - we cater to all people, no matter their level of flexibility, fitness, wellness, body size, shape or age.
