Mark has studied the "art of adjustment in Yoga postures".
As part of his formal studies Mark also has experience in deep tissue and sports rehabilitation massage. He has also completed a course in Transcendental Meditation.

"Yoga is a way of life…in my personal practice it represents a holistic set of values that influence my behaviour and lifestyle. My asana practice (postures) keeps me flexible, open, humble and strong. Meditation provides a grounding, insightful and spiritual connection. Pranayama (breathing techniques) allow balance and harmony to body and mind. This combined with a conscious diet, awareness and gratitude, gently nourish my desire for a balanced and integrated journey."
Mark's other great loves (apart from Yoga)are surfing, cycling, nature, organic gardening and creative cooking.

Mark's philosophy is to help provide a pathway for people to realise their full innate potential through the richness of Yoga. His classes (YogaZen) are a harmonious balance of dynamic vinyasa flow, mindful and grounded static postures, all beautifully interweaved with opening
and nourishing Yin Yoga. Overlaying this is a rich and rejuvenating blend of conscious breathing (pranayama), meditation and relaxation.
YogaZen classes are inspired and based upon traditional Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa power Flow,
Ashtanga and Yin Yoga traditions.
